Who Are We? Over 23 years ago, Mary LaMeres-Pomin and Lyle Martin left the “traditional” world of real estate in search of a better way for consumers to sell their homes. Their efforts resulted in the creation of Assist-2-Sell, a national real estate organization with a goal of helping people solve their home purchasing and selling needs.
Mary and Lyle have always seen themselves as consumer advocates for the homeowner, working hard to assure that consumer needs are met in the ever complicated real estate transaction.
As Mary and Lyle have observed and participated in the deterioration of the US home market, they wanted to develop a program that could help distressed homeowners (meaning homeowners whose mortgages were more than the value of their home) find solutions to their problem. The result of their efforts is the Hope4Homeowners program.
First of all, this program is meant to give consumers hope. The next objective is to give them valuable information at no cost regarding possible choices that are available. The third objective is to provide comprehensive professional services when needed to help the homeowner work through these challenging and difficult problems.
